United Industries is dedicated to total quality control and continually updating and reviewing quality procedures. The commitment to quality impacts on every stage of a project – from planning, through to completion and after sales service.
The quality manual documents are the Quality Assurance programme for all works undertaken by United Industries. The requirements contained in this manual also apply to works undertaken by sub-contractors. The quality programme is designed to ensure that the customer’s quality requirements are recognised, and that the consistent and uniform control of this quality is adequately maintained. The manual outlines how effective control is established by the formal written procedures, competent personnel and sufficient inspection coverage throughout all phases of work furnished and performed in order to carry out contract requirements. The quality assurance programme complies with the requirements outlined in ISO 9001. It includes the provision for prompt detection of discrepancies and timely and effective corrective action. For major contracts this quality manual shall be supplemented buy a “Business Management System (HEQS)” to satisfy all the specific requirements of a particular contract.
