Facilities & Equipment

United Industries operates from its main office & workshops at 36 Stuart Drive, Henderson, Western Australia. The site comprises of approximately 16,500m2 and has three separate workshops.

Workshop 1 - heavy fabrication workshop, comprises of 7,000m2 and consists of:

• Three (3) bays (2 x 25m wide by 81m Long Bays – 10m under hook)
• (1 x 20m wide by 81m long Bay – 10m under hook) and;
• Eight (8) overhead cranes of 10 tonnes with a 10m high under hook.
  

Workshop 2 - heavy fabrication workshop, comprises of 1,000m2 and consists of:

• One (1) bay (20m wide by 50m Long Bay – 10m under hook)
• Two (2) overhead cranes of 10 tonnes with a 10m high under hook
• can be used for on-site surface treatment
  

Workshop 3 - sheet metal and mechanical workshop, comprises of 1,000m2 and consists of:

• One (1) bay (20m wide by 50m Long Bay); and
• One (1) overhead crane of 5 tonnes
• General light fabrication of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, carbon steel and galvanising

Major Equipment:

• 1203 DBZ – Fully Automated Beam Line – FICEP – up to 1200mm wide beam
• TIPO D8 – Fully Automated Angle & Fitting – FICEP – 500x25 Flat, 200x20x20 angel
• TIPO A31 – FICEP Plate Processing Unit – fully automatic CNC plasma & drilling, capacity: 12m x 3.1m wide, 2x independent drilling heads, Hypertherm HPR260 plasma unit
• Licolne Plasma – High definition Plasma cutter – 4.5m x 13.5 bed size
• Plasma Cutting 3m x 3m - up to 10mm thick, 40mm thick plasma, 150m thick oxy – Multi-oxy heads
• Two (2) Guillotine cutting 3.6m wide – up to 6mm thick
• Two (2) Press brake 3.6m long – up to 6mm thick
• AKBEND plate roll – capacity 3.1m wide up to 32mm thick
  

Future Expansion

Lot 2 and 207 Nautical Drive, Henderson land comprises of approx. 19,000m²

It will be developed into two (2) large workshops to cater for the oil, gas and mining industry and will consist of:

• Four Bays total additional 7000m2 under cover
• Four (4) bays - 25m wide by 100m long; and
• Eight (8) overhead cranes of 20 tonnes with a 15m high under hook

October 2010 - United enters agreement with Kador Engineering to manufacture their range of Mine Water Tankers.. more United Industries now offers Water Treatment services under license from Italian firm Eco Bio Processing.. more ISO 9001:2008 certification achieved for our Quality Management System... more Contract awarded for supply and installation of cladding at Blue Waters Power Station at Collie, WA.. more
