Leading Western Australian designer and manufacturer of noise control products, United Industries Pty Ltd, has recently expanded its factory facilities to become a major subcontractor in heavy steel and general fabrication.
The company’s new factory facility in Henderson contains leading-edge equipment that will enable the company to be competitive in the steel fabrication and engineering industry.
Managing Director of United Industries Mr Guy Galati said local steel fabricators can now compete with interstate and overseas suppliers to participate in major projects. “This is due to the company’s commitment to producing quality products with excellent after sales support,” he said. “We strongly believe in creating a reliable and professional service for our clients and our new facility will allow us to continue to meet their needs and create solutions for their requirements.”
United Industries is a prime example of a local company with the capability and capacity to supply and service major projects in Western Australia. Minister for Resources, Industry and Enterprise Francis Logan opened United Industries’ expanded facility in June 2008 and said the company’s investment is testament to the strengths of the WA economy and the opportunities that our strong business environment is presenting to local suppliers. United Industries is a locally owned private company with 35 years of experience in industrial and commercial heavy steel fabrication, acoustics solutions, insulation and cladding, and general fabrication.
The company employs 150 personnel and has an annual turnover of $30 million.
