Scope of Works

1. Design, detail, manufacture, test and deliver a new stand-by generator enclosure. The enclosure was required to meet a very stringent noise level of 65dba @ 1 metre.

A design brief was provided by our client to meet his specification requirements for the end user. The most challenging aspect of this project was to ensure the noise level was achieved without a negative effect to the pressure drop across the generator. We also had to consider the exhaust system of the generator to which we purpose designed mufflers to achieve the client goals.

The generator is powered by a Cummins 310DFCC-TEL/70 engine unit and pre-commissioned in Henderson premises then delivered and installed at the Mandurah Telstra Exchange.
