Scope of Works

1. Supply supervision and labour to insulate and cladding to equipment, ductwork and pipe work

In November 2008 United Industries were requested to assist HPT to complete the insulation and cladding to ductwork on Power station No 1.

This assistance initially was to supply 40 to 60 personnel to meet a critical construction mile stone, (24 December 2008).

Our team not only meet this initial task, it was continually challenged to meet new mile stones with the end result to date of peaking our site crews at 250 men working double shifts. We are providing safety, management, supervision and scaffolding. Insulation services were increased to include pipe work and equipment and we are currently working on power station No 2.

We have to June 2009, worked some 115,000 man hours with no major incidents. We expect a total of 200,000 hours to be worked by the end of October 2009.
